God's People
Rev. Dr. Joseph Payin Ezekiel is a pastor, teacher, author, and mentor whose life and ministry have been marked by an unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ and a deep love for people. Christian Service Church was founded by his father, the late Rev. Captain (Rt) James C. Ocran, and today he serves as Senior Pastor, carrying forward a legacy of faithful preaching, discipleship, and compassionate shepherding.
A Life Surrendered to Christ
Born into a family of faith, Rev. Dr. Joseph Payin Ezekiel encountered the saving grace of Jesus Christ at a young age. That early surrender became the foundation of a lifetime devoted to knowing God and making Him known. He answered the call to ministry with a burning conviction that the church must return to the pure preaching of the Word and the authentic power of the Holy Spirit.
He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree and has spent more than two decades preaching the gospel, planting churches, training leaders, and serving communities. His teaching is known for its clarity, depth, and uncompromising commitment to Scripture — yet delivered with the warmth and compassion of a true shepherd.
Under his leadership, Christian Service Church has grown from a small gathering into a vibrant, multi-generational family of believers impacting thousands of lives. He is a husband, a father, and a mentor to many pastors and leaders across the nation and beyond. He has a beautiful wife with five children serving under the ministry for Christ.
